What I am actually looking for are the 3 soundtracks for these 3 games.
I am certain that the game soundtracks a) contain more music or
b) different music not contained or c) not used or d) used differently (like
in video/game sequences)
in the games.
This is something I already have verified by listening to the tracks
of the Praetorians game and the samples on the site which has the covers for them.
As that is not possible (to actually find an accurate track by track list) I
already started
negotiations in trading with someone who has all three soundtracks. Wish me luck!
Dragon Unpacker does not work, tested this.
Looking over at the Eidos forums I was able to find someone
who created a utility to unpack the Praetorians' pak files.
Downloaded it, installed it, unpacked the musica pak file,
used winrar to open the newly created backup file
as suggested and now I do have the ingame music for Preatorians.
If anyone wishes for links let me know.
For Praetorians there are 8 music tracks (with .ogg extension)
which amount to a total of 39 minutes of music.
The Praetorians game soundtrack lists 20 music tracks
with a total of around 40 minutes, but having heard the samples,
the music is different.
Well, as some times I am a perfectionist, the whole of C2's soundtrack, is
not the whole C2 soundtrack.
We do have the ingame music (39 files) but not all the music or different
music.
And I am looking for both... or else what a commando fan am I?

)))
Yes, I do remember and I have been going over there as well all the time.
There is the C2 PCK extractor for C2 (39 music files).
The Dragon Unpacker for C3 (55 music files).
The Pratorians' Decrypt Utility for Praetorians (8 music files).
Yes, it is. And I used it extensively (the naming of files) to create a
music list.
There wasn't one for C3 but I managed to pinpoint the music tracks to the
mission's music.
Also there isn't one for Praetorians.
So I need to update the faq too at some point in time.
Cheers,
Iakovos
