Default HELP!!

Help I'm am getting spam emails like there's no tommorow! I'm serious.
I checked my yahoo mail account on wednesday and emptied it to 1%
storage space. Then the next day, it was over 100% full. That's when
it all started, around Thursday. Now if I check in an hour I'll
probably be about 30% full (6MB account), but if about 6 hours I'll be
full again. It's not **** that I'm getting because I don't sign up to
those, I am getting all these undilivered messages which are useless
information because i didn't even send nothing and they are bs wierd
ass addresses. Also I am getting plenty of microsoft patches b.s.
files which are viruses (which are the ones that really fill the
account up). There's no point blocking addresses because they're all
different senders, although i block as many as i can be bothered to
block. I wouldn't care so much about this happening because I don't
really use this account for anything useful, but I am awaiting to be
registered with news.individual.net and they haven't responded in over
2 weeks, perhaps they did, but because of the spam mail, it may not
have been able to get through. Anyway, I think I'll just change my
account name or something, but this means I'll have to attempt to
register with the news server again which seems to be a very long
process. Is nes.individual.net the best news server to use for outlook
or are there better ones. I want to have a large list of groups.

Well, who wants to pay for it, when you can get it for free?

I'm betting that some asshole harvested emails from this newsgroup (and probably others)...

That same email is posted here (subject: "Look at that corrective pack")...

For the small fee of 5 bucks, you can register for teranews, and have
unlimited access to binaries. One time fee...

Or Astraweb, which is free

It's a virus. It harvests email addresses from infected machines and then
sends itself to them. Some dumb user opens it, and another group of email
addresses is compromised.

Best way to avoid it? Don't open attachments, and don't use Outlook
Express.

I would have thought that people who are so into games, platforms, etc.
would know more about how computers and the Internet works.
