As long as we're talking about musical connections in FFVII, there's a
particular five-beat-over-two-measure bass rhythm that only appears
in two songs, as far as I can tell -- near the end of Jenova's theme
("J-E-N-O-V-A") and near the beginning of the music for the first part
of the final battle ("Birth of God"). Possibly this serves as an additional
connection between Jenova and Sephiroth.
