Default Farewell, My Love...

FINALLY! 3 hours of trying and I finally got through... Gods, I *HATE*
these bottleneck missions... :/ One time I *almost* reached the end -
however, I clipped the barn on the left and just before the finish line and
spun out. :/ Most times, however, I'd miss that bridge with only one
railing that's right after a tight corner...

:O) Well done. It can be a bind, but is one of those things you get
used to the more times you play it

You're going to really *love* the street races man.

Congratulations anyway!

Cheers,
Rob

Well, those were encouraging words! I got through the "farewell" race on my
third go. For me, every race (few exceptions) in the street races were the
exact nightmare he just had. I still have one more set out of the four
street race sets to go. I'm thinking of skipping the last set until I regain
my turf! Maybe, his really tough race is now done, and the street races will
come easy to him.

No, I'm not. Tried one of 'em (remember, this is my second go-through;
accidentally overwrote my main save, where the last mission done was getting
the keycard from Millie), can't remember which, once and then ignored them
after that. :/

I didn't mind the street races, except countryside endurance, which was a
pain because the non-racing cars were spawning slower than I was driving,
and that one in the skoda (or whatever it is) that takes you up round the
Vinewood sign.

It's possible I like them because racing sims are my favourite non-GTA
games.

I really hated the air races - especially the one in the stunt plane.

Just had a similar situation. Reading the BP cars guide from
gamefaqs.com there's a little poke that allows you to *actually enter*
the Andromeda in the mission "Stowaway".

You can't move it or anything, but personally I just wanted to see if
it was posssible, like so many other apparent non-gettable vehicles, to
nick.

It was only because of the next mission ("Black Project") that I
overwrote my game-in-progress save. The reason is in that mission you
can nick the Truth's everything-proof Mothership (really dig that
colour scheme man).

Doh!

Cheers,
Rob
