HL 1 redone in Source?!!
The only really new textures in HL:Source will be the water- I hear it's
supposed to look fantastic, now. And the game uses the source engine
for gameplay physics, so it should be interesting to see how objects in
the gameworld operate and interact, now. But other than the water,
there are no other new textures, and the models for people and monsters
are still pretty much the same as 1998, although I seem to remember
having heard a rumor that HL:Source may use the style of higher-res
character textures that Blue Shift introduced. Not absolutely sure on
that one, though. This other info was from the PC Gamer review.
So it won't be a total remake of the original, but should be interesting,
nonetheless. Like so many other aspects of this game, we won't know
exactly what the experience is going to be like until we get our hands
