`Playing games today differs quite much from just 10-15 years ago. Then, playing games was restricted to the console or the PC and the only way to play together with others was through multi game pad options on the console or LAN parties. Now a days most games have both online and offline modes and the online modes often gives you extra maps and more content. One of the biggest online gaming genres is the MMORPG. The genre has a social and interactive aspect and the object is usually completed together with others. Example of games are World of Warcraft and online poker.
