Looking at the news, we see that Prime Minister Timoshenko is, as always,
embroiled in some sort of controversy and or weather related incident. When
I saw her last 2 years ago at the Rayburn building, they were hoping she
showed up on time, but didn't make it to New York for that part of her
trip. It was still possible she would appear for Friday or Saturday in DC.
While I waited to hear if she ever got there, I decided to go see some homes
to buy. The realtor just vaguely said sometime during the day. She was
supposed to be away this weekend; the problems with weather make me wonder
if she got in or out. I also wanted to go to this restaurant that I call
vaguely remembered 4 digit number probably representing the year restaurant
was built. I had zero energy for all that house huntingo. I remember the
first time how much I hated it. I did want to see Altavista, because it is
directly across the street from the metro but the realtor told me it is too
small for resale.

Vague date restaurant I know, I remember going there one evening with Doris
and Miriam. Federalist I remember well. we went there a couple times, with
Miriam, and Mary. Once for restaurant week and another time for brunch or
maybe more times./ Sobe I remember but not specifically the event. That
was one of those marathon restaurant week things I think? So all the food
sort of blended in my head for the entire month. I'm not sure which one I
liked which one I didn't/

my Preference was for 2 bedrooms, but will survive with one bedroom with
den. or so i thought. I ended up with one bedroom.

This not so much bekoz I need 2 bedrooms, but for resale.

Easier to resell I think, especially since the smaller units will likely be
appropriated by younger people who really couldn't care less about that
issue and are going for lower cost.

(of course other considerations included having you over to stay overnight)

Anything larger than that is pointless.

My aunt was going to give me some money so obviously she was pushing for the
one condo that was 300K. (IT was around 380 I think).

That was built in 1940 and is a garden apartment which I loathe. I don't
know how well those market, and I noticed that they said that they were
close to metro. By whose standards I wondered. It's on George Mason. I
found it was more than a mile's walk

The realtors and mortgage folks said I qualify for a mortgage but could even
do a higher mortgage, which at the time I thought was obscene. if auntie
had kicked in part of the cost, (she will probably take it jointly with me),
I could put down a lot more than i actually did. that never materialized so
it ended u as one bedroom
