Hey,

When I play eg. a challenge I'm sometimes told to cooldown (in my
display) and the hiding places shows on my map. But how do you use them?
If I drive into one of them and stop, I'm told that I lost the
challenge. If I ignore them completely I, most of the time, lose my
challenge as well. What's wrong here? What am I doing wrong?

Well you should use the "hide spots" when you're actually in cooldown state
and want to evade the cops.
However if your're in a specific challenge that requires specific goals
(i.e. last at least 6 minutes in pursuit mode, or hit a certain number of
police cars or raise a certain amount of cost to state) and you have not
reached those goals when you go in "hide mode" you loose the challenge.
