Default I cannot believe anyone is still here

Oh boy, what a coincidence. I just popped in for the first time in a
year and get to say, Neener neener !
Well, you're still here too slight ! :-)

Hell, I haven't played Q3 in a year, live multiplayer prolly longer
than that. I'd git my ass handed to me if I did. I'm rustier than the
tin man at the bottom of a lake, as far as multiplayer goes.
I just do a little SP here and there with whatever's new when I have
some late night time to kill.

Everyone looking forward to Painkiller ?
That looks like the best game in a looong time.
I'm so damn sick and tired of war based FPSs.

Ironically, AGQ2 is more alive than AGQ3 these days

Well, I just found out the hard way, beware buying Painkiller.
My CD and DVD drives both can install the game just fine, but there
seems to be an issue with the damn copyright protection. It won't run
the actual game ! It claims I'm running CD emulation (which I'm
not). WTF ?? Ironically, emulation is the one thing that might
actually help me to run this damn thing.

On 4/8/2004 10:06 PM phigg brightened our day with:

Gotta love games that end up requiring you to use a no-cd crack in order
to play the game legitimately.

That happened to me when trying to run Diablo2 under Win2K. Under Win98
there were no issues. But on 3 different systems (P4/i850, P3/i440,
K6-3/430VX) with Win2K, I had to use the no-CD crack in order for it to
w3rk!!!
