problems with pb

hello,

ever since i updated my system from a pIII 600 to an athlon 2400+ i
can't play on a server with pb installed on it. my machine crashes so i
have to reboot it. after i disable pb, quake runs fine. enable it, no good.

anybody here with similar experiences? help in anyway? cuz the most
servers i play on do require the pb-client.

Which nvidia drivers are you running?
If it's the new ones(52.16) then there is a bug that affects some systems
when playing pb games.
Install older version of the nvidia drivers to fix if this is the case,i use
45.23 and they are rock solid where pb is concerned.
