It's funny, really. When my priest was running MC regularly, we'd get 20
purples a night and everyone would be yawning at 18 of them. And then I
rerolled on a new server, and seeing any purple at all is like a huge deal.

Which is really all just an excuse to brag about the drop that I got last
night.

Was running BRD on my barely-60 warrior. The new 1.10 version of BRD which
is totally worth farming for drops now, unlike the old BRD where 9 out of
10 bosses had 75% green on their loot table. They *all* drop blue now,
even some of the one-off guys like the person that holds the Prison Cell
Key. Picked up Golem Skull Helm, a new shield, Legplates of the Eternal
Guardian...

And Emperor Dagran Thaurissian dropped the Ironfoe.

I just about pissed myself. Then I hit the Need button and won it.

It's funny, because the second boss in MC has a huge chance to drop an
arguably better 1H weapon for tanking. And if it drops, I probably won't
even get all that excited. I'm way more excited about this than all the
purples I ever had on my priest.
