Man this city is booming. I just hit 750,000 and things just
can't seem to slow down.
A couple of days ago I was looking at the city so far and
realized that I would never reach 1,000,000. The way things were
going I would run out of land first. So for the last few days I
have been selectively upgrading residential areas. I converted
about 10% of my light residential to medium and 10% of the medium
to dense. This got me to 700,000 without increasing the size of the
city.
But then Malcolm Landgrab started to bitch that he didn't have enough new
land to develop. So I created a whole new subdivision for him.
It's kind of nice. there is plenty of housing and room for parks,
schools, etc. I also included some commercial zoning along the
main avenue and some industrial zoning behind the commercial
zones on one side. Well now the sims are bitching that
there isn't enough commecial development. But Im' running out
of commercial areas in my master plan.

To make things worst I noticed that I am sending almost 20% of
my trash out to my neighbor, and ;he just raised the disposal rate.
I've got to build more trash to energy plants.

To do:
Expand subway.
Find more room for commecial zones.
expand local trash handling.
Find site for City colledge North Campus.

And we just hit 800,000 sims with $800,000 in the bank.
Built a new trash to energy plant and replaced an aging one.
Got the trash export down to 3%. Man it's expensive to
export trash.

I still got some room on the NE side of the CBD where I can
zone more commercial and dense residential. But at this point I
have over 90% of the land zoned. I hope I can cram in another
200K sims. My goal is to get to 1mil.

North campus of city colledge is established in an area that was
going to be usd for industrial, but curent industral land
appears to be enought to support curretnt and future needs.
Traffic does not appear to be a problem dispite occasional
paniced outbursts from Mo.
