I used to play a game at the local mall and all I can remember about
the cabinet was that everything on it was not in english and can’t
remember the screen name. Basically how it played was from top down
view scrolling upward (Like Galaga) and you were some kind of agent
driving a blue car (That you could jump out of although it was very
dangerous to do so). Level one was some sort of town complex with
stuff coming at you from the sides and enemy cars trying to ram you
and level two was a bunch of sand dunes with sand buggys after you.
Does anyone know what the name of this game was? Is it around as a
ROM? This is the one game I wanted to get more than any other but
would just be happy to find out the name. Thanks!
BTW: If there is anyone who owns a real Star Wars cockpit arcade
machine, I’m looking for a picture directly from the side that I can
scale up and use to determine the dimensions so I can build my MAME
cabinet. A picture or sketch or anything would help, I have the
overall dimensions but can’t figuire out the angles and heights of the
cockpit area and opening. When I get the plans completed I will make
them available here.

Mike Van Hoose leapt out of his bath and screamed “EUREKA!” before typing
“The Speed Rumbler” aka “Rush & Crash”?
And yes, it’s in MAME, if it is that.
