Falcar, Where the ~~~ is he?

He most certainly does not come out of his blasted room. Well, not in my
game even after updating it. grrrrrrr Need his recommendation as it is the
last.

I have returned to the Mages Guild three different times, talked to everyone
and stood watch over his room in the basement for 30 hours straight.

Need a cheat and to h__ with it.

Anyone?

You could always do the 'summon another copy' thing, but be warned, this
doesn't move the original from wherever he was, it makes a new one.
Enable the console, and while playing type into it

player.placeatme 0002CD21 1,1,1

Uhh, you don't get the Cheydinhal recommendation from Falcar. After he
sends your character into the well to get the ring, he disappears from
the Cheydinhal Mage's Guild hall for the duration of the game. You'll
meet him again later, but you'll never see him again in Cheydinhal.

Talk to the Argonian (IIRC her name it Deetsan) after exiting the well
to advance the Cheydinhal Recommendation quest. If fact, it's a very
good idea to talk to Deetsan before going into the well.

its a good idea to drop alot of inventory before jumping into the well..

Not necessary. Your encumbrance doesn't include things you drag along
in grab mode. Just wave any hypothetically heavy item in front of you
and only put it in your inventory long enough to go through doors.

Well in this case it would be a good idea.. imho..
