heat sink glop

need to make a heat sink for my speed control. think I need some glop to put
betwixt the sc and the heat sink. I did run across a review where they
tested various things...liked the comments bout vege-a-mite. anywho any
favs? tia

Why not just use silver thermal compound. I certainly works on Intel
CPUs and I can't see your speed control putting out that much heat!

well it is rated for 480watts...though in my app it would only be 288w(if it
goes over 100 I've got probs, ditto for water

) guess I'll see what is
avail locally(can't quite see going 40mi round trip just for that) but will
keep in mind.

just a tube of your regular thermal paste from the electronics store is what
I use, unless said item comes with some.
