Default Rogue weapon enchants.



I know someone here is a math freak.

I am trying to work out the best enchant for my twink rogue. Mainhand.

I am tossing up between either Lifesteal, Crusader and +5. Main hand is
Claw of teh Shadowmancer (1.8 speed dagger)

I was wondering what was going to be the biggest impact to a fight. I
know the Lifesteal / Crusader only really count when they proc, but is
the non proc bonus of the +5 Damage over all the better choice?

Conventional wisdom is that +5 is best for a mainhand dagger, since it
gets multiplied by the backstab and ambush damage multipliers. Crusader
is always more recommended for PvE than PvP. Both Crusader and Lifesteal
are better suited to swords/maces than daggers - you'll get more procs
due to the slower speed meaning a higher proc chance on instant attacks,
and also making more instant attacks with SS than backstab.

HOWEVER, I have heard the unconventional argument made that +15 agility,
while not normally recommended for mainhands, is the best for low level
twinks. This is because the contribution to crit% and dodge% made by
agility is determined by your level, and at lower levels, 15 agility
goes a lot further. You might want to look up exactly what crit and
dodge you'll get from 15 agility at level 29.
