Default where are the moonwells?

I know there's one in Ashenvale and Moonglade, are there anywhere else too?

These are the ones I know of:

Darnassus (Temple Of The Moon)
Stormwind (Park District)
Thalanaar, Feralas
Jadenar, Felwood (this one's corrupted, but I've read it works for
mooncloth anyway. Haven't tried it).

There are probably more elsewhere (I'm guessing there must be one or
two in some of the horde capitals maybe?)

Aside from the ones mentioned previously, almost every Night Elf town
has one (I'm pretty sure anyways). There are a few scattered about
Teladrassil, one in Auberdine, etc.

In all honesty though, being a mage I usually end up just using the
ones in Darnassus or Stormwind.

In the Alliance capital cities probably. None of the Horde capital
cities have one as far as I know.

And there is also one in the Cenarion Hold in Silithius, which I use if
I pass there for AQ or Cenarion rep grinding.

Besides that, I usually go to Ashenvale to the one SW of the
Splintertree Outpost.

Had you not made the parenthetical comment I'd of had no clue that
moonwells were used for anything except lowbie elf quests. So they're used
to make mooncloth? As a new artisan tailor, I'll have to start noting their
location.

I've seen them all over Teldrassil, and I'm pretty sure I've seen one at
Stone Talon Peak.

IIRC correctly, you can get the Mooncloth recipe around Tailoring level
250 or so (maybe higher, can't remember). It takes 2 Felcloth to make
1 Mooncloth, and the cooldown on the conversion is 4 days (not a typo).
There is decent money just in selling mooncloth, as if you shop around
and buy it when you find deals 2 Felcloth can be bought for around 3G,
and the resulting Mooncloth piece sells consistently for around 12G.
Early on I'd keep an eye on the AH and buy Felcloth whenever you can
get a good price on it. I'd also start converting it to Mooncloth as
early as possible and stocking up on that. Given the long cooldown if
you want to make items that require more than one piece you'll either
have to plan ahead (what I do) or end up buying extra pieces from the
AH, which can get expensive. I'm at 54 (Mage) now, but want a
mooncloth robe (takes 4 mooncloth) when I hit 56 so I've been saving up
for it since level 52.

You can also use a secondary character for making mooncloth; Cheynne's a
tailor, and when I started wanting to make mooncloth items, I realized I
needed to make mooncloth more often than every 4 days, so I took Faunacate,
my level 48 hunter alt on the same server, dropped his leatherworking (which
he wasn't very good at anyway), learnt tailoring with him, then spent a
couple hours levelling up his tailoring until he was able to make mooncloth,
so now I can make 2 mooncloth every 4 days instead of just 1.

My friend on Emerald Dream is a leather worker, and has a similar issue with
refined deeprock salt (I believe that's it), with a cooldown of 3 days; he's
been saying he wants to create a second character just to make it, but thus
far, he hasn't. --
