Default cuttings (have miniature yellow)

does anyone have advise on propagating miniature roses.
should I just take cuttings, clean them up a bit, dab them with rooting
hormone and..........
I would like a few more of an unusual yellow that I have.

Default cuttings (tag bottle)

Minis should propogate pretty easily. If
they're patented you're not supposed to
(it should be on the tag).

Probably a good idea to make more cuttings
than you want in case of losses. I don't use
the tenting method, just use a good potting
soil and keep the cutting damp (spray bottle)
until I start getting leaves.

The American Rose Society web site
has an article on propagation, as well as
most intro books on roses, like the
Ortho series I rely on so much.

Check out the Articles section.

Default cuttings (white tag yellow rose flowering)

I'm not worried about what the tag says because they didn't come with any.
I got them at the end of season on the day the garden center was closing.
Picked up 30 miniatures for $5.00 Cdn! yeah I know....sorry
Planted them as a border. Had no idea what colors I got till they started
flowering. About 2.5 weeks after.
There is one particular yellow that I love because of the classic rose shape
(you know the cut ones). Well I only got one of these. Lots of white. Two
deep reds and several pinks. Even got some white ones with red streaks
through them.
Well I took some cuttings yesterday and dipped them in rooting hormone and
put them under lights. So far no drooping. Having said that wait till
tomorrow!
