Hi,
It sort of sound like the frame buffer. Try booting with vga=normal See if that helps Rus -- w: http://www.jvds.com | Dedicated FreeBSD,Debian and RedHat Servers e: rghf@jvds.com | Donations made to Debian, FreeBSD t: +44 7919 373537 | and Slackware t: 1-888-327-6330 | email: sales@jvds.com -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-powerpc-request@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". I think u have a problem with ur XF86Config-4 file. I myself face the
problem sometimes but restarting the xserver ( sometimes multiple times ) fixes the problem ( ctrl alt backspace ). thanks panda -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-user-request@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact listmaster@lists.debian.org |

VGA options are of no help on PowerMacs.
Woody is fairly old, though I'd expect it to work on those older machines too What are the startup messages exactly ? The Linuxones or the MacOS/BootX ones ? (Note that I think debian ships an outdated BootX). Eventually try setting or clearing if it was set, the "no video driver" option in BootX Ben. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-powerpc-request@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
