Default Disable Mozilla Profiles?

Hey!

Is there a way to flat-out disable Mozzie's "profiles"? I am the only
user of this login (well, machine really), and if I have Mozzie Mail open
in another desktop, it complains that profile is in use when I go to open
a new Moz browser window.

At the very least, I would like that much to stop, but, I would like to
disable profiles altogether. If that is not possible, is there a way for
Thunderbird to import my existing (well over two years old and large)
mailbox?

If not any of them, what are my other options? I use KDE and love it, but
kmail is... well.. "behind"... Mozzie's junk mail filtering works very
well for me and really don't feel like jumping through a lot of hoops
(spamassassin/fetchmail etc.) to get close functionality.

Thanx!

-Matt

Xanadu enlightened us with:

No.

Then use mozilla-xremote-client, it's made for it.

I should think so...

Ummm... call me dumb if you will, but why would I want to use a "remote
client" on the machine this keyboard is connected to?

Xanadu enlightened us with:

Because there are other ways of interpreting "remote". Your TV has a
remote, right? This program works as a remote for an already running
Mozilla.
