Hash: SHA1 What's a nice, high-quality power supply for an Athlon XP 3200+ (what I'm thinking of buying soon)? I'm going to have one Quantum Fireball (IDE drive), 2 SATA WD 74GB Raptors, 1 GB (2x 512 MB) Kingston PC3200 RAM, Nvidia GeForce 6800, and a Sony DVD+/-RW (as well as CD-RW) drive, all connected to an Asus A7N8X-E deluxe. Thanx in advance for your advice. - -- () The ASCII Ribbon Campaign - against HTML Email, /\ vCards, and proprietary formats. - --------------------------------------------------- Peter A. Hi,
I would by an Enermax (have one for myself). They have a lot of do***entation, are not too noisey and have a nice quality that makes them a worthy purchase. I used up several noname-PSUs, while a friend with almost the same setup used the same Enermax for all these years, for a year I am using an enermax too and am very satisfied. The products at PC POWER AND COOLING,
http://www.pcpowerandcooling.com/home.htm, have been the best that I can find. Totally reliable, rock solid and very accurate. I use them in all my perosnal PC's and a few at work even. -- ************************************************** **************************** Registered Linux User Number 185956 FSF Associate Member number 2340 since 05/20/2004 Join me in chat at #linux-users on irc.freenode.net Buy an Xbox for $149.00, run linux on it and Microsoft loses $150.00! 7:11pm up 98 days, 21:53, 7 users, load average: 0.05, 0.08, 0.08 -- gentoo-user@gentoo.org mailing list |
