What's a nice, high-quality power supply for an Athlon XP 3200+ (what
I'm thinking of buying soon)? I'm going to have one Quantum Fireball
(IDE drive), 2 SATA WD 74GB Raptors, 1 GB (2x 512 MB) Kingston PC3200
RAM, Nvidia GeForce 6800, and a Sony DVD+/-RW (as well as CD-RW) drive,
all connected to an Asus A7N8X-E deluxe. Thanx in advance for your advice.

Hi,

I would by an Enermax (have one for myself).
They have a lot of do***entation, are not too noisey and have a nice quality
that makes them a worthy purchase.

I used up several noname-PSUs, while a friend with almost the same setup used
the same Enermax for all these years, for a year I am using an enermax too
and am very satisfied.

I just got one. I bought an Antec case that came with it already and I
love it. The PSU as well as the whole case is whisper quiet and it has
5 80mm fans going. More if you include the 2 in the PSU.
