Hi
I have just installed Gentoo, and everything more or less works. I can hear CDs, but they are very quiet. I tried using kmix (kde built using emerge kde) and it is empty with no options to set. Any ideas on what I should do to be able to increase the volume ? Hi,
are you running ALSA or OSS for the card? Try running alsaconf to configure your card for use with ALSA. Then try a rc-update add alsasound boot to start ALSA during boot time. Is the mixer remaining still empty then? Best regards ce -- gentoo-user@gentoo.org mailing list |
