Laptop-sync w/Desktop
I also use unison to keep my home dir in sync (about 3 GB of data).
What's nice about unison is that's it works on heterogeneous platforms.
And as it uses rsync to transfer data when needed, it's fairly fast.
Disclaimer: I help a little bit developping it, so my opinion is
definitely biased ;-)
