Default GAIM (Pidgin) and user interface

I use one of my Mandriva boxes as a general box for multiple people.
Would anyone know if GAIM (Pidgin) is able to use a login interface
such as MSN?

Do those people have their own login and password to use the box?
There is a login screen that shows if you decide to uncheck
'automatic login' for Pidgin but mine is checked so I hardly need to
see that screen at all; I happen to be the only one using my PC.

Assuming they will all be using the same home directory, you could
setup separate desktop icons for each user, using the --config=DIR
option. That way, each user would have their own account(s) setup,
each with the option (during account setup), as to whether or not
to remember the login password.
