Default Invalid or incomplete multibyte or wide character??

I started getting this message a while ago from /etc/cron.daily/msec

I do not know what the deal is, or what I must have changed to cause it.
Does anyone know how to get rid of it? It shows up in my root email daily...

/etc/cron.daily/msec:
Invalid or incomplete multibyte or wide character
.. . . message not sent.
"//dead.letter" 49934/3228365

Thanks.

Do the following:

wc /home/*/dead.letter

If you get a similar message, the easiest solution would be
to remove the affected file, unless the owner needs the
content of the file. $HOME/dead.letter is normally created
when the user terminates a mail program in the middle of
creating a new outbound message.

There are a number of common programs or commands that whine
about multibyte character issues. Getting rid of the
"UTF-8" part of your LOCALE settings may get rid of the
whining.

Did you set up postfix with a proper alias for root?

There are no files named dead.letter anywhere I can find on my drive.
This message did not used to happen. I wonder if its from some mail
program configuraition issue?

For the record. I think I got this because I installed 2007 postfix as
opposed to 2006 postfix and 2007 is utf8 or something like that. Anyway
that is my suspecion.
