I persuaded a friend to try Mandriva and he's getting to
like it. As a ex-DOS user he's also finding the CLI quite
comfortable. He trying 2007.

One problem though, he has an external Iomega USB Drive
which is proving troublesome. I can't give any further
details other than when he plugs it it an icon appears on
the desktop. If he clicks the icon nothing happens at all.
Plugging in a USB Pen-Drive works fine however. Also if he
connects the Iomega using Windows it works fine.

I will be able to find out more next week but for the moment
is there anyone else who has used one of these drives
successfully with Mandriva who can give me any hints?
