Default Kontact password management - KDE Wallet problems

I've a new installation of MD2006, with KDE, still getting the feel of it,
trying to configure bits and pieces before migrating fully.

I like the look and feel of Kontact. Except that the integration with KDE
Wallet is not very smooth: keep getting asked to input passwords. I
thought the point of the Wallet was to store the passwords, so the
application retrieves them itself. Fair enough to be asked for the initial
Wallet password, I suppose, but the smtp and pop passwords? These are all
set up with KMail, but obviously not correctly linked with Wallet.
Strangely, the KMail passwords sometimes appear in the Wallet, and
sometimes some are missing.

Any thoughts on sorting this mess out? When I initially installed Kontact,
it asked me if I wanted to use Wallet. Not knowing anything about Wallet I
clicked "No". Then the alternatives looked worse, so I changed my mind.
But there is no wizard for reversing this decision (if indeed that is the
problem).

Thanks in advance,
Ed

I don't know how to restart the wizard. I did use the wizard but have had
the same behavior you describe, so I'm not sure using the wizard will help
you.
