Default Missing drives

Hi

I'm running Mandriva 2006 and I'm having problems with the devices
window. When I open the devices icon on my desktop not all my drives
appear in the window and my scanner appears twice. What could be causing
the problems and how can I solve them?

Thanks
Robert

Switch to the IceWM desktop and you have have that problem since it
doesn't use desktop icons (which I hate).
Just a wild ass guess since I don't run whatever desktop it is you are
using. highlite the scanner and hit the Delete key. Or right click the
Icon and select delete. To add drive icons, try right clicking in an open
area.

Hi

Thanks for the reply. Well after a reboot my other zip drive has
appeared again but I still have two icons for my scanner (guess thats no
big problem, just an annoyance). Sorry, I'm running KDE 3.4. deleting or
adding does not work, I just get an error message.
