Even I, stumbling into this group the way I tend to do, noticed *and*
read the post "A.O.L.M FAQ - How To Use This Group", listed only two
posts before yours *and* posted at least 9 hours before you
(Translation. You had ample time to read the A.O.L.M FAQ before you let
loose such a brain dead request).

Reminder to self: "One should ensure any subject title, bearing the
word "test" be consigned to a kill filter outside of test groups,
henceforth".

Thank you for providing the catalyst.

I think a previous poster has mentioned that it would depend on
when an ISP added the group to their server list. So if they
had added it say an hour before the OP posted then he/she would
not have all the older messages. Ahh, yes, check the thread:

Verizon server now carrying this group

You can try sending mail to the address in the headers but it
might not get read for a while, if at all.

<cough> some of us have experienced dificulty in accessing this new group
even after it is listed by the server. That's why I posted with 'this is
not a test message' as the subject - and started one of the longest threads
so far <G>. Of course your filter will be hiding that one from you too
