What is the sender address and/or domain in the emailed
MandrX Club newsletters? I have been a club member for many months, but being as Verizon has apparently been blocking the newsletters, I have not seen what address the newsletters get sent from. I need that in order to resubmit a whitelist request and bug the Verizon security folks. With news of a large class action lawsuit against Verizon for their blanket blockade of email from Europe, I figure there's a chance I might be able to get the whitelist request approved this time. (For those who would advise me to switch to another ISP: I appreciate your advice, and I acknowledge your good intentions. The reason I am not presently considering this option is because I already went there and did that, and it was a disaster far worse than the problems I have encountered at Verizon. With a third-party ISP, Verizon still provides the to-the-home last-mile DSL link. When the link goes down, as it does quite frequently when using a third-party ISP, both Verizon and the third-party ISP blame each other, and the problem takes a very long time to get fixed. With Verizon as both last-mile provider and ISP, it bypasses the whole finger-pointing exercise and gets right to fixing the problem.) Thanks. Robert Riches spamtrap42@verizon.net (Yes, that is one of my email addresses.) |
