Hello,
I have installed Fedora core2 on a Compaq presario 900. The touchpad
is a synaptics touch pad. The mouse properties in Win XP shows the
name of the device as 'Synaptics PS/2 Port touchpad'.
The problem is on both text terminals as well as X-Windows - I can't
select text which can be done with gpm I guess nor can I double tap in
X-Windows (Gnome) to select or click a button or close a window the
way it is possible in Windows XP.

Any help/advice please.
