Default Installing problem



i want to install linux on my personal system .I have two drives. Drive
1 (with master jumper settings)has 60 GB and Drive 2 (with slave jumper
settings) have 40 GB, how will i partition the drives to install linux
(there is no other OS present in the system).

What distro are you intending to use?

I'd suggest just checking the 'auto partition' option or just setting
'/', '/home', and Swap in any size you prefer.

If this is for a server then you might want to consider buying and
reading an administration book first.
