Default NTP and GPS

Hi All.

I'm trying to build a box whose time is controlled from a GPS receiver.

From the googling I've done, it appears that I can set up ntpd to read
directly from certain GPS units. But I've not found any real detail
yet...

Has anyone got a decent walkthrough for this? A real "numpty's guide to
NTP and GPS"?

Thanks!

Vic.
