Default Text (non-PostScript) printing in FC6

Pardon me if this is not the correct newsgroup for this question.

I have just upgraded from FC3 to FC6. One of the things that changed was the
font size when printing text on my Kyocera-Mita FS-1010 printer. Printing
of PostScript is unaffected, but printing a mail message, for example comes
out in a larger type size than it used to. I'm guessing that it's 14 pt.

I don't know where this is controlled, and therefore how to change the type
size. I gather that the PPD only applies to PostScript printing.

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers,

Larry

I'm interested in this too. If I cut/paste/save a text file, I can lpr
it at a reasonable font size. Printing directly from evolution or
firefox uses the larger font size.

Evolution's font size setup has two options; "use the same as other
applications" or "use my designated sizes". I think that the printing
info is being picked up, all the time, as "same as others" but I haven't
figured out where "the others" comes from.
