Default upgraded from 9 to FC3 wont boot now

I upgraded redhat 9 to FC3. But now it will not boot

I still get the old lilo bootloaded and shows the old kernel

2.4.20-30.9

I booted into rescue mode and cant no where find this. lilo.conf is pointing
to new kernel

I keep getting No init Found. Try passing init= option to kernel

please help

Did you really upgrade or did you re-install?

What does your "/etc/lilo.conf" look like?

What does your "fdisk -l /dev/hda" look like?

Need a little hint, here.

Cheers

I did upgrade.

But it seems to be fixed now. I guess FC does not support lilo or something.
I booted into rescure mode and did a grub-install

That worked

Apparently there is no option during the installation to use lilo.
It just uses grub. I have been using lilo for some time and so
manually set up the configuration and ran it to install lilo as
the loader. Lilo is available and FC "supports" it (it is just a
distribution of Linux) but does not make it easy for one to use it.
