Default Slackware kernel with ethernet bridge support

Are there any precompiled slackware kernels with support for ethernet
bridges compiled into them? I took a look at
/pub/os/slackware/slackware-current/kernels/ but couldn't tell if any of
them had it. I'm guessing they didn't.

They is a _module_ for that (in stock Slackware v9.1): modprobe brige

Well, i have never setup Linux as a (801.2d spanning tree) brige, yet.
But you need the "brctl" command (and for filtering "etables"): http://www.math.leidenuniv.nl/~buytenh/bridge

I think they all do ...

I am sure (801.2Q) VLANs are supported too (that i /have/ used):

modprobe 8021q

Then you'll need the "vconfig" utility to configure it:

HTH.
