Hash: SHA1 Well, not really. You have questions concerning some of the software which is included in Slackware 10. Did you see this tutorial? http://dev.mysql.com/doc/mysql/en/Tutorial.html If that's not what you're looking for, explain why and perhaps someone can direct you elsewhere. Can you be more explicit on what you want to do, and what docs you read that weren't enough to get started? (It seems like there is quite a bit of documentation at dba.openoffice.org.) - --keith - -- kkeller-usenet@wombat.san-francisco.ca.us (try just my userid to email me) AOLSFAQ=http://wombat.san-francisco.ca.us/cgi-bin/fom -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.4 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFBYyRAhVcNCxZ5ID8RArsfAJ9vkOVkhUV2wYRliytISa RIFptMxgCcD43l JOkV5Im1tw0ghqy9ypDbIhE= =d6Vj -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- |

It is published by Computer Step, ISBN 1-84078-207-2. It gave me enough of a clue to get started and then make sense of the PHP documentation on the 'net, which is excellent once you get a grasp of the basics. If you do get this book go to it's website as there have been a few important changes to PHP since it was published (2002). The main impact on myself was the use of superglobals to handle sessions. Hi,
about the fonts... I had humbly suggested to you a solution replaying to your previous post named "fonts" but I have not received feedback so probabily my advice was not useful... I think you need to use one of the Unx ODBC drivers for that. I was
able to get it to work that way with postgresql back in the old StarOffice 5.x days. Dunno if OpenOffice ships with any native drivers. -------------------------------------------- John Bleichert - syborg@earthlink.net "The meek shall inherit nothing." - FZ |
