Hallo,

es gibt Tage (und heute ist so einer), da bestreikt mein Rechner unter
Linux jede Internet-Verbindung.

Dual-Boot WIN ME + SuSE 9.0 mit 2.4.21.273, KDE 3.1.4, aktuell gepatcht.

Die Fritz!DSL SL-Karte ist als contr0 mit CAPI2.0 OnBoot konfiguriert
(und tut unter WIN tadellos), dsl0 mit CAPI für ADSL und dem richtigen
Provider (geht ja auch tagelang gut). DNS werden zugewiesen (und
scheinen zu passen, sind die 217.* von TO).

Folgende Meldungen gibt's, wenn es sich beendet:

Status is: connected

In den /etc/pppd options habe ich dann die lcp-requests von 4 auf 6
gesetzt. Erfolg = Null

Beenden von smpppd und neuer Start gehen nicht. Manchmal geht es nach
einem Reboot (!?) wieder, manchmal aber auch nicht: Nach dem Booten
zeigt KADSL dann ADSL auf "Grün", ATM = "grün", aber jeder
Verbindungsversuch endet so:

:-( Die SuSE Support-Datenbank und Google brachten bisher keine
hilfreichen Tipps zutage.

Hat jemand für einen SuSE-Anwender, der noch immer nicht alle
(Un-)Tiefen des Systems kennt und meistens YAST benutzt, noch eine Idee,
wo ich nachschauen kann? Seltsam ist nur, dass es "Phasen" sind, wo es
nicht geht und ohne jede Konfigurationsänderung dann auch wieder sauber
läuft. Da ich nicht an einen "Kupferwurm" oder "schlechte Vibrations"
glaube, muss ich irgendwas übersehen haben...

Wenn ich hier falsch bin, bitte ich um Weiterleitung in eine passendere NG.
