Default network manager



being new to linux and ubuntu, i made a little screw up

i accidentally removed from panel the network manager and it's not listed in
the add to panel, how can i get that back into the panel?

How about: right click panel->add application-> Internet-> knetworkmanager.

wow... talk about fast replies...

i'm using the default gnome and under add/remove.... network manager is
installed, but not shown in applications/internet and i have no idea on how
to access it in terminal

Network manager is in System>administation>network

Or you can use the "network monitor" utility in "add to panel"
