Newsreader Poll on Ubuntu Forums

Why do you need a poll for that? A perl script could retrieve all
statistics, like that your reader is "slrn/0.9.8.1pl1 (Linux)"

Because being a web site it is best viewed on a web browser perhaps? :-)

Anyway, people might use more than one reader. I read a few groups with
pan, never posted in it so that wouldn't show from any statistics
gleaned from news servers.
