PANIC: Can't boot after update!
I understand the interest in tinkering with it just to see if you can
fix it, but I think I would rather tinker with something else. Fernando Cacciola wrote:

Sometimes when the xwindows fails you get a graphical bootfailure and
you are looking at a blackscreen with a prompt. Then you can
ctrl-alt-delete and it will solve the little problem and boot into the
graphical.
