Default Ubuntu 6.0.6.1 does not install, hangs

Hi,

If you look for stability, then try Debian, or even better, FreeBSD.
Slackware is good to, but not so handy as Debian and one Hell to install.
I absolutely dislike SuSE.
Bought 10.1 finding out it has lots of bugs, is ultraslow in installing
packages (Yast is really slow)and once updated,it was inmpossible to
install Limewire,MPlayer, VLC and so on.

My final advice is to wait until november for Debian 4.0 and to give
FreeBSD a try.
