If those devices are mounted John, OO, nor any other app, should have
problems reading or writing to the drive. It simply has to open the mount point and do so. Cheers. -- The "Wow" starts now. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KyLqUf4cdwc&eurl= "No sane person wants Vista, so Microsoft is making sure they have no choice." http://www.aaxnet.com/editor/edit043.html |

Sorry, late night! Should have been "shouldn't" rather than "should" that I
posted above. Geez. Cheers. -- The "Wow" starts now. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KyLqUf4cdwc&eurl= "No sane person wants Vista, so Microsoft is making sure they have no choice." http://www.aaxnet.com/editor/edit043.html |

Hi John,
I have Kubuntu 7.04 also. When I insert my Kingston USB memory stick, I get a desktop icon and can open the memory stick for copying to/from the hard drive. It works just fine here. -- Carsten A. Arnholm http://arnholm.org/ N59.776 E10.457 |
