Pioneer VSX-D3S (Dolby Digital 5.1) A/V Receiver

Here are some of the features:

A 100 watts of RMS power into five channels.

Five video and five audio inputs, Dolby Pro-Logic, five other DSP
modes, they're all to be found here besides AC-3 (DD5.1).

A Graphical User Interface allows you interactive on-screen display
capabilities, and with the supplied plug-on mains repeater, the
VSX-D3S
can work a variety of equipment from a host of manufacturers.

A composite RF output (RCA) from AC-3 capable LD players to the RF
input on the VSX-D3S - no external RF demodulator required! There is
also a separate AC-3/Dolby Digital coax input for existing DVD players
or digital cable receivers (I've used it for both using a piggyback
RCA cable).

Great condition! Remote, repeater, and manual included. I needed to
upgrade to a newer receiver that can accomodate component video
switching.

Due to the weight/fragile nature of the unit, I'm only willing to sell
in the Toronto area (i.e. no shipping).

also willing to trade this for an RF demodulator (with multiple
inputs, for example, Pioneer RF-1) - I still want to keep my laserdisc
player (until George Lucas releases the *original* unaltered Star Wars
on DVD!!).

Looks like it....*sigh* Besides, I've got a ton of karaoke discs
that I use to torture my neighbours. Can't justify re-buying these in
another format (i.e. VCD or DVD))
