2 in 1 DVD Possible?
I produce data DVD-Rs that work like this, it'll depend on the behavior
of your standalone players with data DVDs. My cheapy players will
supply a default menu with .mpg and .jpg files on a blank burned as a
data DVD, once the first one is started up, they then play the clips in
alpha order, you can select just one with the remote, too. I use
either the straight Nero DVD ISO template for clips <2G or the UDF(not
ISO) template for >2G. Both seem to behave the same way in the
standalones and, of course, there's no problems reading the things as
data disks in the PCs. I just don't have the time to create video DVDs
for all the clips I pull off the PVR card, this works satisfactorily
for my use, anyway. I don't have a fancy menu popping up but it gets
the movies played. Try it out and see if you can stand it.
If all you have is Nero Express, you may not be able to do different
templates. The one time I popped it open, I got ticked so off by the
lack of amenities that I uninstalled it and went back to the full
previous version I had. Try the full trial version if all you have is
the Express version that came with your burner.
