Speaking of something new comming along. There are 2 new dvd's comming
out this year. Sony has the new Blu-Ray ,blue laser. And Hitachi has
High Def. Both supposed to hold 50 gigabytes to start then 200 gigabytes
later. VHS tapes have metal particles that fall off over time. If you
keep dvd/cd clean and scratch free on the bottom side and out of
sunlight , they will last a long time..how long nobody knows yet...Stan
