What player can play Pal and NTSC DVDs?
Tell me and I'll buy it. There's a ton of UK DVDs that are not available in
NA, does anyone know of a player that can be turned region free and also plays PAL DVDs in colour? Thanks. |

What player can play Pal and NTSC DVDs?
There are several makes of DVD player that can be made "region free"
with a simple hack (see www.dvdhelp.com for details) and which convert between NTSC and PAL formats. Many of these are available at stores like Best Buy, Circuit City, CompUSA etc. For example, the Cyberhome DVD players do this and can be bought for as little as $35. A player that seems to be highly recommended, at the moment, is the Philips 642. BB |

What player can play Pal and NTSC DVDs?
The LG V8824W combo. Can it be set to play widescreen DVD's on a normal TV
(black top and bottom) without squeezing the picture narrower? Where do I find out? |
