Does anyone have this package in Chicago? What HDTV stations are you
receiving and how is the picture? I live out near Elgin and I don't believe
OTA will work for me. Thanks.

I do. I have Comcast digital cable in Downers Grove. HD channels at this
point are ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, HBO, SHO, ESPN, and a couple of In Demand HD
channels (I've never watched these). There's also a PBS HD demo channel.

I have a Sony 34" XBR widescreen TV (direct view) and the HD picture quality is
remarkable, particularly the football games on ESPN and CBS (each broadcasts
one Saturday college game and one Sunday NFL game in HD every week). The
Tonight Show is unbelievable in HD. Prime time dramas (CSI, Law and Order,
etc.) look like DVDs in HD.

All highly recommended.

BTW,how much do you pay for HD?

I don't know offhand, as my accountant (spouse) pays all the bills. I do
know, however, that adding HD only increased my cable bill by $5 per month. I
already had Comcast digital cable with HBO. Interestingly, the new cable box
that Comcast installed for HD is also a cable modem (looking at your email
address if you use Comcast for internet perhaps you already have the
appropriate box). I've had Earthlink DSL for four years and it works well, so
I've never tried their cable internet service.
