My buddy uses a diplexer to combine and separate
his cable internet and satellite LNB signals. His condo
building uses a stacked signal which is combined with
his cable feed at a central location where both services
have their distribution boxes. No separate amplifier is
needed to compensate for the diplexers. Neither signal
is affected by them.
