There are a number of ways to do this, most well discussed on dvdrhelp.com
or http://www.doom9.org. The easiest way, is to 'rip' the dvd files to your
hard disk, (smartripper, or dvddecrypter-both free), and then use FlaskMpeg
(or DVD2avi) to convert the vob's to avi. I actually use FlaskMpeg more
often, as I like the control it gives me over file compression, audio,
etc... Anyway, they are all free, and you can learn 'em in no time.
